Joe Biden has gone from expressing his alarm depicted in the top image where one can imagine him holding it in, to the bottom one where he is expressing it?
His most recent speeches demonstrate that he is going to take on the MAGA assualt on democracy head on. For example:
Biden previews 2024 message by warning that Trump’s movement is a threat to American democracy
“There’s something dangerous happening in America now,” Biden said during his speech in Arizona, where he was also honoring his friend, the late Republican Sen. John McCain. “There’s an extremist movement that does not share the basic beliefs of our democracy: The MAGA movement.”
“There’s no question that today’s Republican Party is driven and intimidated by MAGA Republican extremists,” he said, using the acronym for Trump’s political movement. “Their extreme agenda, if carried out, would fundamentally alter the institutions of American democracy as we know it.”
The people who want the next president to usher in an America first White privilege autocracy are beyond redemption.
My problem is with those who care about our democracy but who only watch right-wing and won't see and hear him.
Somehow Biden needs to get his message to Fox News viewers and since they won't cover his speeches the DNC will have to buy ads. The fairness doctrine compells neworks to give equal time to competing political parties so Fox can't refused Democratic ads.
