During the ceremony, Housing and Urban Development Secretary Scott Turner delivered a prayer.
"Father, we thank you for our president, Donald J. Trump, whom you have anointed and appointed for this time, for such a time as this. Lord, thank you that the president prioritizes prayer," he said.

If Trump believed in God or anything having to do with religion and it’s values and tenets of morality and community, from belief in God to how to treat one’s fellow man, I think Hell would freeze over. the Devil would be standing in the bitter cold.
You’d think this story was the most important news of the day for the massive coverage it was getting. Trump could make at all go away if he’d just admit that there was a time in his life that he was a testosterone fueled manly machine who may, like his pal Jeffery, sometimes have liked his women on the young side. He could say that he was never aware of the worst of the worst things Epstein and Maxwell were doing to underage girls, but he could offer some kind of mea culpa for his own behavior admitting it was immature. After all, he got away with the Access Hollywood tape and his supporters yawn at what he did to E. Jean Carroll, I don’t understand why he’s digging in his heels over this.
