PNG School Fees Fund – An education scholarship fund to help the pastors of the New Guinea Island (NGI) District, Papua New Guinea (VA Synod Companion Synod) pay the school fees for their children.  Pastors receive a 25% school fee subsidy, but your donations will help enable them to pay the remainder 75%.  Annual fees range from $50 for an elementary student to $1,000 for a university student.   

                                                           

 

 New Guinea Island (NGI) District Complex - The NGI District of Papua New Guinea is the companion synod to the Virginia Synod.  During 2006 & 2007, the VA Synod is raising funds to assist their companion synod to build a District Lutheran Complex that will include office space for their district president (equivalent to our bishop), two residential blocks, one for youth and one for women and a guest house for visitors.  The VA Synod needs to raise approximately $15,000 above and beyond what the youth of the Synod raise during the next two years through their Youth-to-Youth Project.
